DJ Jazzek
Jazzek
is one of the best known house djs in Poland. He plays
high-energetic, making-people-move music. He especially prefers funky
house and latino. He is also fascinated with the sound of live instruments combined with the energetic beat of latino house and so
he often invites artists to accompany him with live music.
Jazzek
(Jacek Janaszkiewicz) started as a dj in Szczecin clubs in 1991 when
black rhythms were mostly played. 1995-97 he was the resident of the
widely-known in Poland Quo Vadis Club with funky, soul and house
music. In 1997 he cooperated with Pegasus Project Aency from Hamburg.
In 1998 he gave a big gig on the Ship of Love and thus started
cooperation with New Music Art Agency (the producer of Techno Dance
Mission events). He is also known as the organizer of music evenys
like MFS Label Party, Red ll Summer Niht, From Disco to Disco.
2001-2004 he was the promoter of the Red Bull Music Academy in Poland. Currently Jazzek plays in the best clubs in Poland (like
Utopia - Warsaw, Eskulap - Poznań) Since
2005 Jazzek owns the most chique and popular Can Can Club in
Szczecin.
